Why A Strange Loop-a ‘Flawed-But-Who-Cares Masterpiece’-Deserved Its Pulitzer Prize
Though the show takes place entirely inside the mind of its troubled protagonist Usher (brought to life at Playwrights Horizons with mordant charisma by Larry Owens, who just won a richly deserved Lortel Award for his performance), there’s a lot going on in there, even if the proceedings, as per the title, keep looping on themselves.
